Why Fisker should have been saved (and where was the EPA now???)

It's a shame that Fisker Automotive wasn't saved. I wonder, where was the EPA now? It's easy for a bully, like the EPA, to crack down on companies and fine Billions. But honestly, why doesn't the EPA employ any smart people?

The Fisker Karma was probably the coolest and most advanced car coming out of the entire car industry in the past 10 years. Yes, we have the Tesla and Tesla makes awesome electric cars. They are profitable, sell over 25'000 units of the Tesla S alone and will probably produce around 100'000 electric cars by the end of 2016. Very good job, well done Mr. Musk.

But why was the Fisker Karma so much better? The pricing of the Fisker Karma was about the same as on a fully loaded Tesla Model S. But Mr. Hendrik Fisker was a true compassionate "mother nature" lover.

Here are some reasons why:

Wood Triming, Interior: The Karma’s uniquely refined interior wood trim is 100% sustainably sourced from Fallen, Sunken and Rescued Wood™ to ensure that no live growth is ever used. Fallen Wood™ comes from fallen trees in the western United States. Sunken Wood™ has a white oak finish with a beautiful patina, created naturally after resting at the bottom of Lake Michigan for over 300 years. Rescued Wood™ is recovered from trees from wildfires in California.

The components that form the Karma’s interior are as unique as they are essential to continuing Fisker’s sustainable and accountable design philosophy. Every Karma produced reflects Fisker’s dedication to the use of reclaimed, recycled and reusable materials: Wood trim is sourced from reclaimed lumber, seating foam is fashioned from soy-based bio fiber and the carpet backing is created from recycled post-consumer materials.

Leather Interior: Yes, you cannot sell a $100'000 car if you cannot offer leather. There are simply not enough wealthy vegans out there. But I believe Hendrik Fisker found the next best thing. The Karma EcoStandard features an interior environment that’s tinted a rich shade of black (Black Onyx Monotone) and emulates pure grain leather. The EcoSport’s leather comes from the world’s first closed-loop leather manufacturing plant. Not only is the leather sourced from farms that abide by the Five Freedoms of Humane Animal Treatment, approximately 85% of the entire hide is used (more than double the amount used by traditional automakers). The Karma EcoChic is the most advanced sustainable trim package available. It features 100% post-industry virgin textile Premium EcoSuede to surround occupants in a lush and sustainable driving environment.

Solar power: Featuring the largest solar glass roof ever designed for a production vehicle, the Fisker Karma harnesses energy from the sun to extend the driving range for up to an additional 200 miles/322 km annually. Custom designed to be a wonder of both art and engineering, the roof visually conveys the Karma’s advanced technology and environmental purpose. The oil needed for it's production is recycled crude oil and the glass is recycled bottles.

Again, 100% of this car is recycled. Even the paint or fabric that is made out of fallen tree leaves.

Who could have saved them?
There should have been a rescue plan in place for the financially struggling business of Hendrik Fisker. He was a visionary and his product was amazing. The US government, mainly the EPA, should have given Fisker Automotive an interest free loan of at least 1 Billion. Then increase production to a level of Tesla or at least 10'000 units, being able to lower the price to around $80'000. Then make a new IPO out of the company and promote is as CO2 free and GREEN COMPANY. Push the recycling features of the car, get all the green people on board (I'm on board). Push a vegan version of the car and get some famous vegan celebrities on board and voila... you'll have the next Apple-like IPO going crazy on Wall Street allowing to produce more cars and other models for the mainstream.

You want to save the planet? This is a very good start. But now, it's too late. Fisker is dead, nobody came to rescue them. It's a shame, a real shame. The EPA will continue making deals with oil companies and chemical companies. The EPA will continue to allow chemical war fare in the sky a.k.a. chemtrails, the EPA will continue to support Monsanto or hire it's people to run the EPA, the EPA will continue to scream for alternative energy vehicles yet keep on being in bed with oil companies. The EPA will continue dumping toxic waste and chemical waters into rivers and not being held accountable for it. The EPA is a total joke ! It's a bully that makes rules and regulations that not a single car manufacturer can meet and forces them to cheat and lie. What do you expect from the industry? And what do you expect from the consumer? The electric car was killed many times before. The famous GM EV1 alongside Toyotas RAV-4 EV1... then the Fisker and only Tesla was able to hold their fort until now...
